Local Council

Tree Asset Management

Tree Protection

Establish tree protection zones to prevent impact to retained trees during development. Where encroachment is unavoidable, provide recommendations to mitigate impact.

Urban Tree Management

A tree inventory provides an easy to use database enabling local councils to: prioritise tree maintenance works by potential risk, improve tree diversity, structure tree replacement programs and improve streetscapes.

Native Vegetation

Determining your native vegetation offset through the use of both vegetation assessors and a qualified arborist will provide expertise from both fields to ensure the most appropriate development practices are used to minimise environmental impact.

Planting

Tree vacancies can be recorded and mapped with a GPS location and additional data such as; adjacent tree species, footpath width and the presence of overhead powerlines. This information will improve annual planting programs and ongoing tree management.

Storm Damage

Severe storms can cause significant damage to trees and create hazards.
Undertaking a tree assessment after a storm can identify tree hazards and prioritise works according to the identified level of risk.

Resident Requests

Oldmeadow Arboriculture can undertake tree inspections and provide information on health and structure, useful life expectancy and potential risk. Recommendations will be provided to mitigate risk or to alleviate tree related nuisance if appropriate.
